The acousto-optic deflector of PSG85-1 uses a small tellurium dioxide single crystal as an acousto-optic medium.
It can be applied in such systems as laser demonstration, laser recording, acousto-optic frequency spectrum analyzers, high-speed laser recorders, acousto-optic correlators, and high density information memory systems.
